Non-Refundable Tickets
Most discounted or promotional fares are non-refundable. Once confirmed, these bookings cannot be canceled for a refund unless permitted by the airline or travel provider under special circumstances. Always check fare rules carefully before completing your purchase.
Refundable Tickets
Refundable fares are subject to the policies of the issuing airline or travel supplier. In some cases, suppliers may issue travel credits or vouchers instead of cash refunds. Such credits are typically valid for future bookings with the same provider only.
You may request a full cancellation without penalty within 24 hours of booking if:
Your cancellation request is made within 24 hours of the original purchase, and
The scheduled departure date is at least seven (7) days away.
This aligns with standard consumer protection laws. However, final approval depends on the supplier’s fare conditions, and OrionFares cannot guarantee automatic refund approval.
After the 24-hour grace period, non-refundable fares are typically not eligible for refunds.
Refundable fares may still qualify, but are subject to the supplier’s cancellation penalties and OrionFares service fees.
No-shows (when a traveler does not board or cancel prior to departure) are generally non-refundable.
Refunds are processed in the order requests are received.
Depending on the airline or service provider, refunds may take 60–90 business days or longer to be completed.

Service Fees: OrionFares may charge a processing or administrative fee in addition to any penalties imposed by the airline or supplier.
Even if a supplier waives its cancellation penalty, OrionFares service or convenience fees are non-refundable.
Taxes or third-party charges may also be deducted in accordance with supplier or payment provider terms.
Medical or Emergency Situations: Some travel suppliers may allow partial refunds, credits, or rebooking options in cases of verified medical emergencies or bereavement. Supporting documents (e.g., medical or death certificates) may be required.
Third-Party Bookings: If your reservation involves a third-party partner, any refund may first be issued to that intermediary before reaching you, which may extend processing times.
If you experience a delay or disagreement regarding your refund:
Contact the airline, hotel, or supplier directly for faster resolution, especially if they are bound by consumer protection regulations.
You may escalate unresolved refund issues to applicable consumer protection agencies or dispute resolution bodies if you believe your refund was unfairly denied.
Choose flexible or refundable fares if your travel plans are uncertain.
Keep copies or screenshots of all fare rules, terms, and price details at the time of booking.
Submit documentation promptly when requesting exceptions for emergencies.
The sooner you initiate your refund or cancellation, the quicker it can be processed.
